White-label SDK & API · Onboarding design partners

The critical-event layer for the apps your customers already use.

RoamResponse turns verified critical-facility visits and global travel-risk signals into consent-first assistance workflows — so insurers, airlines, assistance providers, and employers can act earlier without building facility intelligence, professional networks, or incident orchestration themselves.

Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play.

The problem

The gap between an event happening and anyone knowing

Most travel-safety systems depend on the subscriber recognizing the emergency, reaching a device, and initiating a request. That model fails precisely when support is needed most.

Delayed awareness

A subscriber may be hospitalized, detained, evacuated, or unresponsive. Families, employers, insurers, and assistance providers often learn nothing until a call is made or an itinerary segment is missed.

Fragmented facility data

General mapping identifies points of interest, not meaning. Response requires distinguishing a trauma center from a routine clinic, a police station from a correctional facility, a disaster shelter from a community center.

Language and jurisdiction barriers

During hospitalization or detention, subscribers and their contacts struggle to communicate with local professionals, understand procedures, or locate the right diplomatic and licensed support.

Privacy and false-alert risk

People enter hospitals, police stations, and correctional facilities for reasons unrelated to a personal emergency. Automatic third-party notification creates substantial privacy, trust, and legal exposure.

The integration gap

Travel-risk, family-safety, geofencing, medical-network, and monitoring products each solve part of the problem. None provides a specialized critical-facility event layer you can embed in what you already run.

Unmeasurable duty of care

Organizations carry real obligations to travelers, employees, students, and policyholders — but lack the structured event data to demonstrate response quality, timing, or outcome.

Operating model

Five stages, one principle: context before conclusion

Facility entry alone is never treated as an emergency. The platform weighs facility sensitivity, dwell duration, trip status, risk conditions, and location confidence before anything happens — and asks the subscriber first.

1

Detect

Entry, exit, dwell, itinerary exposure, a travel-risk signal, or a manual SOS creates an early assistance signal.

2

Evaluate

Facility sensitivity, trip status, risk intelligence, dwell duration, and customer policy reduce false positives and inappropriate escalation.

3

Confirm

A private subscriber check-in preserves agency and privacy. A "safe" response closes the event with no disclosure.

4

Coordinate

Event-specific workflows engage professionals, notify authorized contacts, or hand off to monitoring and dispatch.

5

Resolve

Communications, status updates, referrals, and outcome are tracked for accountability, analytics, and enterprise reporting.

What the subscriber sees — and what your platform receives

The platform

What you embed

Six capabilities that would otherwise be six separate build efforts — delivered as one integration and governed by one consent model.

  • Native SDKs, REST APIs, and webhooks
iOS and Android SDKs with dynamic, proximity- and itinerary-based geofence selection built around platform limits, offline queueing, delivery logs, retry rules, and signed webhooks.
  • Verified critical-facility data model
Category, sensitivity rules, operating status, WGS 84 coordinates, polygons for campuses and dense urban environments, source attribution, verification date, and confidence scoring.
  • Configurable context and severity engine
Tune dwell thresholds, facility types, escalation rules, suppression for routine locations and work sites, and sensitive-location policy per tenant and per jurisdiction.
  • Consent, authorization, and audit infrastructure
Versioned consent with timestamp and scope, separate sharing permissions per data category, immediate withdrawal propagated to active workflows, human-review gates, and an immutable audit record.
  • Administration console, dashboards, and analytics
Multi-tenant policy and role administration, incident dashboard, integration health monitoring, event quality, response and escalation metrics, and data-operations workflows.
  • Credentialed professional networks
Bilingual medical, legal, and interpretation providers with license, jurisdiction, language, specialty, availability, and expiration tracking — plus integrated monitoring and dispatch partners.

Use cases

What an event actually looks like

Each workflow is a configurable template. The detection, evaluation, and consent logic is shared; the coordination step is specific to the event type.

RoamResponse use cases and expected journeys
Use caseExpected journey
HospitalizationA subscriber remains within a hospital geofence beyond the configured dwell threshold. RoamResponse checks in privately. If help is requested, it provides hospital details, engages a bilingual medical professional, and sends approved status updates to authorized contacts.
Possible detentionA subscriber remains at a jail or police facility. The event is treated as sensitive. Consent is verified, a private check-in is attempted, and where lawful the platform may provide local facility contacts, consular information, bilingual attorneys, and interpreters.
Accident or roadsideA subscriber is involved in a vehicle accident, breakdown, or roadside incident during an active trip. After confirmation, relevant emergency, roadside, towing, transportation, medical, and insurance resources are coordinated and structured incident data is delivered to the insurer.
Disaster shelterA subscriber enters an evacuation or disaster shelter during a relevant risk event. The platform provides local emergency guidance, airport and transportation information, and approved contact updates.
Urgent medicationA subscriber enters a pharmacy during an active trip and requests assistance. Insurer contacts, translation help, local medical guidance, and available professional support are surfaced.
Police assistanceA subscriber enters a police station and confirms a theft, assault, or lost-document event. Consular information, local support, and authorized-contact updates follow.
Cruise-port medicalA subscriber disembarks near a cruise-port medical facility. RoamResponse coordinates with the cruise line, insurer, medical support, and nearby transportation resources.
Monitoring escalationA high-severity event, failed subscriber response, or manual SOS is transferred to a professional monitoring partner able to assess and dispatch appropriate emergency services.
Travel-risk alertA risk-intelligence feed identifies a severe event affecting the subscriber's itinerary or location. The subscriber is alerted with instructions, and a check-in or assistance workflow can be initiated.

Deployment

How an integration comes together

Most of the work is deciding policy, not writing code. We handle the event layer; you keep the customer relationship, the brand, and the operating model.

1

Scope & policy

Define facility types, dwell thresholds, sensitivity rules, escalation policy, authorized-contact roles, and jurisdictions for your tenant.

2

Integrate

Embed the iOS and Android SDKs, connect enrollment and identity, and feed trip and itinerary context through APIs, webhooks, or existing customer feeds.

3

Validate

Controlled field testing against detection precision, false-alert rate, check-in response time, notification delivery, and battery targets — plus a security review.

4

Operate

Run live workflows with the incident dashboard, integration-health monitoring, operational analytics, audit records, and data-quality review cycles.

Engagement model

A paid pilot with a limited geography and defined facility types, progressing to an enterprise MVP with a design partner, then to a repeatable commercial implementation.

Commercial structure

Pilot engagements, annual platform subscription, and usage-based options scoped to your segment and subscriber base — with implementation services for integration, security review, custom workflow design, testing, and training.

How success is measured

Detection quality, subscriber response rates, time to professional engagement, avoidable escalations, notification delivery, provider performance, and data completeness — agreed before the pilot begins.

What we are

An embeddable platform, not another safety app

RoamResponse is an embeddable software platform that turns critical-facility visits and travel-risk signals into privacy-conscious assistance workflows. It is intended to complement — never to replace — emergency services, medical providers, legal professionals, travel insurers, or established assistance centers.

Every organization that serves travelers eventually faces the same build decision: global facility intelligence, multilingual professional networks, monitoring operations, event-specific workflows, consent management, and authorized-contact communication. Each is a serious undertaking. Together they are a company.

We build that layer once, correctly, and make it embeddable — so the organizations that already hold the customer relationship can offer a materially better safety experience without becoming a platform company themselves.

Vision

Where we're going

To become the trusted critical-facility intelligence, global travel-risk, and professional-assistance orchestration layer used by organizations to protect subscribers internationally.

Identify events earlier

Recognize meaningful critical-facility visits sooner than traditional manual reporting methods allow.

Escalate less, and better

Reduce false escalations through contextual evaluation and subscriber-first confirmation.

Keep people informed without exposing them

Keep authorized contacts updated without disclosing information beyond the subscriber's consent.

How we build

Own the differentiated layer, partner for the proven one

We do not attempt to replicate an entire global assistance operation. We own the specialized critical-facility event, consent, professional-network, and orchestration layer — and integrate established infrastructure everywhere else.

Where we are

A deliberately staged rollout

We are entering the validation phase with a controlled pilot rather than a broad launch. New markets open only after local facility data, risk intelligence, privacy requirements, professional licensing, and referral rules are validated.

The first pilot combines a Dallas–Fort Worth critical-facility dataset with a limited subscriber cohort, one risk-intelligence provider, one professional monitoring provider, and one enterprise design partner. Initial live workflows emphasize healthcare, disaster shelter, pharmacy, and subscriber-requested assistance. Sensitive detention and police workflows begin in controlled testing before any external release.

Boundaries

What RoamResponse does not do

Being explicit about the edges of the product is part of being credible about the middle of it.

We are not a provider

RoamResponse does not deliver medical diagnosis or treatment, and does not provide legal advice or representation. Licensed professionals do that work; we coordinate access to them and stay out of their judgment.

We do not guarantee outcomes

We do not guarantee emergency response, medical outcomes, release from detention, or the availability of bail. Emergency information and basic assistance resources remain available regardless of whether any paid provider participates.

We do not run dispatch

Professional emergency monitoring and dispatch are partner-enabled through licensed providers under documented APIs and escalation playbooks, not operated in house.

We do not disclose without authorization

Sensitive-facility events are never automatically disclosed to employers or family members without a valid authorization workflow, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Bring the critical-event layer into your platform

We're onboarding a small number of design partners ahead of the first controlled pilot.

Request a briefing

Let's look at your event model together

We're working with a small number of design partners ahead of the first controlled pilot. A briefing covers the SDK and API surface, the facility data model, the consent architecture, and how RoamResponse would sit inside your existing assistance or claims operation.

  • A working session, not a pitch
We walk your event types, jurisdictions, and existing partners, then show where the platform fits and where it doesn't.
  • Technical documentation
SDK integration overview, API and webhook reference, data model, and security posture — under NDA where required.
  • Compliance review material
Consent model, sensitive-location policy, audit architecture, and retention controls for your privacy and legal teams.
